Artist's Statement...

I believe that design is the foundation for all innovation and change, and that designers solve problems. As I am always thinking of problems, functioning in design has always been inherent for me. I love textures and colors, and asymmetrical balance; and being technically oriented, patterns and fractal in both nature, and in art inspire me. Collaborative projects challenge me to learn about what inspires other people. I notice the fibernatti in things, the beauty in monochromatic, or black and white photography and how they coexist. Things that influence me are everywhere, in nature, history and all things old and with a story; people, friends and family, random objects, tables; small spaces, lighting challenges, and I would like to see more of community-oriented public-spaces, and repurposing of all material things.

Background...

I have been working in design, in one way or another, literally since I learned to iron crayons (way back when). I am a competent seamstress, and I have experience with vintage clothing, textiles and antique furniture; as well as graphic design skills, writing and good communication. In business I have owned and operated a small retail boutique, and ecommerce site as well. I would say that my combined artistic and creative, combined with technical skills give me an edge to both understand your design challenging, and the ability to address them innovatively, competently and creatively.

Goals....

Pleased to offer you assistance with space planning, decorating, color-consulting, organizing, 2d & 3d drafting floor plans, elevations, mechanical drawings and details and electrical plans, (ADA & Code Compliant) projects, resourcing materials, research, and any design challenges you are facing.
